Career Placement Specialist
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is hiring a Career Placement Specialist to connect graduates with employment opportunities in the trades. The role focuses on developing employer relationships and job opportunities, coaching students and graduates through the job-search process, and meeting placement targets. The specialist will work directly with students, graduates, and employers at the Melrose Park Campus in an on-site setting. The schedule includes three early shifts and two late nights until 8 p.m. Lincoln Tech describes itself as a career-training provider with 80 years of experience in healthcare, automotive/diesel, skilled trades, and information technology. Requirements
- Experience in sales, retail, restaurants, or another fast-paced service environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining momentum.
- Genuine belief in education and a desire to help people succeed.
- Comfort using the phone and speaking in front of a room.
- Motivation by metrics and performance targets.

- Knowledge of skilled trades, transportation, or healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of employer relationships and job opportunities.
- Coach students and graduates through their job search, from resume preparation to receiving an offer.
- Meet weekly and monthly placement targets.
- Run workshops and coordinate job fairs.
- Connect employers with Lincoln Tech talent.
- Work across departments to remove barriers and help graduates get hired.
