About The Position

The Career Pathways department at Fresno Mission equips individuals in crisis or recovery with the skills, opportunities, and support they need to find employment and build long-term stability. Through faith-based job readiness and financial literacy classes, along with vocational education that offers hands-on training across multiple industries, we help individuals build a foundation for lasting transformation. The Career Pathways Systems Support role helps the program succeed by managing administrative tasks, data, and daily operations. This role maintains accurate participant records, assists with grant and outcome reporting, coordinates logistics, and helps the Career Pathways team work efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and committed to using their skills to support life-changing work.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills are required.
  • A mature walk with Jesus Christ and able to articulate Biblical beliefs and their application within the context of the Fresno Mission.
  • It is important that each employee possesses and maintain a Christian testimony of their faith and experience in Jesus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data management, reporting, or database systems
  • Experience in workforce development, nonprofits, education, or ministry
  • Experience coordinating schedules, projects, or events
  • Experience supporting individuals in recovery, re-entry, or trauma-informed settings
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Responsibilities

  • Enter data to support grant reporting, funding requirements, and program evaluation
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate participant profiles, records, and email accounts
  • Track participant goals, progress, attendance, timeclock entries, and outcomes
  • Coordinate schedules, calendars, trainings, meetings, and program events
  • Support vocational education logistics and program coordination
  • Collect employment outcome data to measure participant success
  • Prepare reports and documentation for leadership, grants, and funding partners
  • Maintain confidentiality and support clear, accurate communication across departments
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and reporting processes
  • Participate in department meetings, staff trainings, and professional development
  • Collaborate with the Career Pathways team to support program goals and participant success
