Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Power-Point, and TEAMS.
  • Solid understanding of standard office and clerical procedures.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and respectfully within diverse team environments, fostering positive relationships with coworkers, program staff, and clientele.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections within the community, ensuring effective and compassionate service delivery.
  • Willingness to learn WIOA regulations and the ability to accurately complete applications, forms, and interpret instructions in various settings.
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, while maintaining neatness, accuracy, and a high degree of organization with large quantities of data and documentation.
  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • 1 year of career readiness experience.
  • 1 year of case management experience.
  • A valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass and maintain background check clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully maintain and manage a caseload of 30-50 active participants, providing individualized support and ensuring timely progress.
  • Meticulously document, pay close attention to detail, and juggle multiple tasks and files simultaneously.
  • Adhere to specific grant funding requirements.
  • Passionately advocate for participants, resolving personal obstacles that hinder their academic or employment goals.
  • Deliver exceptional guidance and career counseling to adults (18 and older) and youth (aged 14 – 24) helping them navigate their career paths and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with service providers, schools, training institutions, and employers, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and participant progress is verified.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with training providers, schools, employers, and local agencies to offer the most effective services possible.
  • Establish and monitor various training and work readiness services, including ITAs, OJT, work experiences, and apprenticeships, ensuring participants are well-placed and supported.
  • Register participants in the state data system, process purchases and invoices, track spending, and complete all required monthly reports with precision and diligence.
