About The Position
JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity to join our Philadelphia Independence Network (PIN) team as an Career Navigator in our Collingswood NJ location. As the Career Navigator, you will assist in ensuring that youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities have a more fully informed choice and can successfully transition into integrated, competitive employment.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate entire arc of Discovery process for assigned participants
- Work with participants to identify internship and employment opportunities; provide support as needed:
- On-board participants into internships
- Train participants on technical aspects of expectations
- Train employers regarding support needs of individuals; provide ongoing technical assistance to employers
- Participate in recruiting participants
- Engage with employers; educate employers and staff; facilitate resolution of participant’s challenges.
- Provide coaching, counseling and feedback when necessary; assists in identifying creative solutions to encourage smooth transitions
- Other duties as assigned
