About The Position

Greystar is hosting a career fair on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm at Hominy at River Blue, 113 Hominy Ridge Ct, Asheville, NC 28806. We are hiring for multiple positions including Leasing Professional, Assistant Community Manager, Community Manager, Groundskeeper, Make Ready Technician, Service Technician, and Service Supervisor. Greystar is a leading, fully integrated global real estate company offering expertise in property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. Founded in 1993, Greystar is the largest operator of apartments in the United States and a significant global investment management company.

Requirements

  • Community Manager: At least 2 years of experience in residential property management in a Community Manager or related role.
  • Assistant Community Manager: At least 1 year of experience in residential property management in an Assistant Manager role or related experience in collections/bookkeeping.
  • Leasing Professional: At least 1 year of experience in apartment leasing, real estate, or related sales role. Must have outstanding customer service and sales ability and strong verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, candidates must be organized and possess strong computer skills.
  • Maintenance Supervisor: At least 2 years of experience required in an apartment maintenance/service role or similar field of maintenance. HVAC and EPA certification required.
  • Maintenance Technician: At least 1 year of experience required in apartment maintenance/service role or similar field of maintenance. HVAC and EPA certifications strongly preferred.
  • Groundskeeper/Make Ready Specialists: Previous property upkeep experience in a groundskeeper, porter, apartment turn, or related role preferred. Strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate real estate properties.
  • Provide world-class service in the rental residential real estate business.
  • Perform duties related to property management, investment management, development, and construction services.
  • Lease apartments and manage resident relations.
  • Oversee property maintenance and repairs.
  • Handle bookkeeping and collections.
  • Maintain grounds and perform make-ready tasks for vacant units.
