The Career Development Manager is a vital part of the Career & Professional Development team, responsible for leading the planning, execution, and evaluation of employer engagement and professional skills programs. These programs are designed to prepare students for successful careers. This role is the main coordinator for various career-related events such as career fairs, mock interviews, networking events, employer panels, classroom engagement, and site visits. These initiatives connect students with employers, alumni, and industry professionals. Beyond managing major career events, the manager also provides career advising, assessment, and strategic outreach to support student career readiness. The position acts as a liaison to specific academic programs and industries, working with faculty to integrate career learning outcomes, support Career Everywhere initiatives, and link academic learning with career paths and workforce needs. By fostering partnerships with employers, alumni, faculty, and campus stakeholders, the Career Development Manager creates impactful experiences that boost student engagement, enhance career readiness, and lead to positive post-graduation outcomes.
