About The Position

Brayman Construction Corporation, a leading heavy civil and geotechnical contractor with office headquarters in Saxonburg, is seeking a full-time experienced Career Development Manager to join our growing team. We're looking for a Career Development Manager to design, lead and deliver meaningful career growth programs for our business objectives, coach individuals on their professional development, and build programs that prepare future leaders. This is both a strategic and hands-on role where you'll shape the path or career development across the company. Requirements

  • Effectively utilizes computer software applications in Microsoft Suite, (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to actively listen and communicate effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Psychology, Sociology, Organizational Development, Education or related field preferred
  • 5-8 years' similar experience in a related field will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the career development department - currently consisting of one development coach
  • Develop and execute a company wide career development strategy that supports talent retention and internal mobility
  • Work with senior leadership, HR, and managers to align career development initiatives with business goals
  • Conduct regular meetings with Team Members, conducting one-on-one coaching on career paths, goal setting and skill development
  • Develop and track training programs (non-safety), including a leadership development program
  • Communicate, and document, the growth and readiness status of team to senior management
  • Provide guidance for Team Members facing professional challenges
  • Appropriate handling of confidential and non-routine information
  • Research and apply for applicable training grant funds
  • Works closely with HR, Recruiting, and Executive team members
