About The Position

The Recruiter & Career Development Manager is responsible for helping the people of our organization perform at their highest level. This role focuses on talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, offboarding, employer compliance (including HIPAA), employee engagement, and people-related performance metrics. A focal point of this position is helping people succeed in the roles and responsibilities they have chosen to take on, reinforcing accountability and ownership in their work. The Recruiter & Career Development Manager exists to create clarity, develop personal accountability, and support continuous improvement across the organization. By aligning people and systems with the company’s mission and guiding questions: How am I a problem for others? How can I be more helpful to others? How can I help things go right? The ideal candidate helps team members understand the modern expectation of ownership and accountability tied to the role and responsibilities they are choosing to take on. He or she helps create proper expectations, improve effectiveness, and take ownership of the results of the new team members' efforts. The Recruiter & Career Development Manager partners closely with leadership to identify gaps, address performance trends, and ensure our people operate with consistency, helpfulness, discipline, and purpose.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading people, sales, and operations, or talent management with a focus on performance and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting to ensure the right people are invited to join our team
  • Partner with leadership to clearly define requirements of the seat, role expectations, performance standards, and measures of success
  • Maintain hiring processes that support long-term performance
  • Track and report hiring performance metrics, including time-to-hire, candidate quality, and team member retention
  • Own the onboarding process to ensure new team members are set up for success quickly and effectively
  • Ensure completion of all required documentation, training, and system access
  • Coordinate exit interviews, and documentation with consistency and professionalism
  • Identify trends from onboarding and exit feedback to improve performance, engagement, and retention of quality team members
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements and confidentiality standards
  • Maintain accurate employee records and required training documentation
  • Be responsible for the employee handbook; meeting with leadership bi-annually to ensure policies are current & clear
  • Work with leadership to address policy adherence, accountability, and clarity around expectations
  • Support team engagement initiatives that reinforce ownership, accountability, and the highest standards
  • Help leadership identify morale, communication, or performance gaps early
  • Implement feedback loops that encourage self-awareness, responsibility, and continuous improvement
  • Reinforce a culture where team members regularly evaluate how their actions impact others, seek to be more helpful, and focus on helping things go right
  • Create people-related performance indicators, including: Hiring effectiveness Onboarding completion Retention, turnover, and job satisfaction Training and compliance status
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide leadership with clear visibility
  • Use data to recommend actions that improve individual and team performance
