Trinity TankCar, Inc. is hiring a Career Detail Specialty in our Longview, TX location! Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial
- Previous experience in rail or steel manufacturing industry is a plus!
- Must have mobile equipment certification
Responsibilities
- Prepares and applies detailing with paint, decals or stencils.
- Operates specialized paint and metal surface application equipment and measuring tools.
- Mixes and applies alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula.
- Initiates and maintains all applicable paperwork as required.
- Follows all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Applies decals (must have mobile equipment certification).
- Repairs exterior paint.
- Operates scissor lift (or scaffold).
