About The Position

The Career Coach provides personalized career development support to a diverse student and alumni population, including working adults advancing or changing careers. This is a hands-on role where the career coach delivers individual and group coaching, leads career workshops, collaborates with academic partners, and connects students with resources and opportunities that support their career goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience in career coaching, academic advising, human resources, or a related field.
• Experience coaching or advising students or adult learners
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, academic advisors, and campus partners.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with digital career tools and platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group career coaching to students and alumni, both in person and virtually, covering career exploration, resumes, interviews, job searches, career transitions, and professional development.
• Develop career presentations, training, and resources for students, faculty, academic advisors, and other campus partners.
• Plan, deliver, and promote career workshops, classroom presentations, and events.
• Coordinate student-facing resources, including the Professional Headshot Booth and Swoop’s Career Closet.
• Connect students with internship and experiential learning opportunities through program promotion and individualized guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of coaching appointments, career conversations, workshop attendance, and classroom presentations.
