Glymont Middle School is seeking a Career Coach to coordinate and collaborate on career development activities and programs for students in grades 6-8. This role involves implementing a career advisory program using the Xello platform, providing professional advisement on various post-secondary options, and teaching essential skills to students. The Career Coach will work closely with school counselors, community partners, and business representatives to create opportunities for career exploration and work-based learning experiences. The position requires a minimum of two years of college with at least sixty college credits, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A valid Maryland driver's license and the ability to be approved as a flagged driver are also required. Experience in youth development, with Xello and/or Synergy, and proficiency in a language other than English (Spanish preferred) are desirable.
