About The Position
Are you ready to dive into the world of local government? Join us for an exciting 8-week journey with Doraville's Career Catalyst Summer Internship Program. Gain invaluable insights and hands-on experience as you explore the inner workings of our city. By the end of the program, you'll: Understand how local government provides services and supports our community Develop leadership and team-building skills Learn from experienced professionals across various city departments The program is led by: Career Catalyst Committee Human Resources Department Participating City Departments
Requirements
- Be between the ages of 16 and 21
- Provide most recent education transcripts
- Be available for the entire program duration
- Attend orientation, work 25 hours per week for 8 weeks, and participate in the awards ceremony at the end of the program
- Be willing to work in any assigned department
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to attend a City Council meeting
