About The Position

Beacon Specialized Living Services is seeking a Care Team Manager to lead with purpose in a group home setting. This leadership role focuses on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges. The Care Team Manager will lead and mentor a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring both quality care and smooth operations in the home. The position involves overseeing the daily operations of a residential program and working closely with clinical teams, families, and regulators to provide high-quality care and a safe, supportive environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Leadership capability

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a related field
  • Some college coursework in human services or business
  • Prior supervisory or management experience in healthcare or human services
  • Ability to motivate, guide, and support a diverse team
  • Clear and compassionate communication with staff, families, and residents
  • Skilled at balancing operations, compliance, and care
  • Able to handle challenges while keeping a person-centered focus

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Support Staff: Supervise, coach, and develop DSPs to deliver excellent care.
  • Ensure Quality Care: Oversee resident well-being, advocate for their needs, and promote person-centered planning.
  • Manage Operations: Maintain budgets, staff schedules, payroll accuracy, and compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Facility Oversight: Ensure the home is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with families, referral sources, and regulatory agencies while keeping leadership informed.
