About The Position

Senior Helpers of Bel Air is seeking a Care Team Coordinator to serve as a resource and support for our caregiver team. This is a hands-on, field-focused position for someone who understands home care, enjoys working with caregivers, and takes pride in keeping our team prepared, supported, and compliant. The Care Team Coordinator will work closely with the Operations team to support caregiver onboarding and orientations, maintain compliance requirements, assist with training and education, and help caregivers succeed in the field. The focus is on being a reliable resource for our care team and helping ensure our caregivers have the tools, training, and support they need to provide excellent care.

Requirements

  • CNA or GNA preferred.
  • Previous experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, or a similar environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of caregiver responsibilities and the needs of seniors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working directly with caregivers and providing coaching or assistance.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Comfortable using technology, electronic documentation systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
  • Professional, dependable, and approachable.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to drive to client homes and other locations as needed.
  • Must be willing to work in the field as well as in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a day-to-day resource for caregivers and assist with questions, concerns, and care-related needs.
  • Conduct and assist with new caregiver orientations and onboarding.
  • Assist with managing inbound and outbound calls
  • Help ensure caregiver files, certifications, training, and other required compliance items remain current.
  • Track upcoming expirations and follow up with caregivers to obtain required documentation.
  • Assist with caregiver training, education, skills reviews, and ongoing development.
  • Provide additional training or coaching when a caregiver needs assistance with a specific client or care task.
  • Conduct caregiver check-ins and provide feedback to the Operations team when additional support may be needed.
  • Assist with caregiver recognition, engagement, and retention efforts.
  • Support the Operations team with quality assurance and field-related follow-up.
  • Participate in client visits, caregiver visits, or other field activities as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate caregiver records and documentation.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve caregiver performance, consistency, and client satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the scheduling and operations teams to help resolve caregiver-related issues.
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and supportive relationship with the caregiver team.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the Care Team and Operations department.
