Care Team Assistant

The Care Team Assistant (CTA) is a critical role at Erie that performs a variety of patient care activities to support both our Providers and Medical Assistants in the delivery of services to ensure timely and comprehensive care.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Cultural competency to work with a diverse patient population.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or two (2) years of college a plus.
- Six (6) months of related experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
- Bilingual fluency to assist or work with non-English speaking patients and/or guests.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus.
- Intermediate EPIC skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and prepares exam rooms, ensuring they are cleaned, sterilized, and stocked appropriately to provide excellent patient experience
- Assists with scheduling appointments for general follow ups, testing, and procedures as instructed
- Provides discharge summary requirements and next steps
- Helps with sensitive exam requirements
- Ensures all faxing and printing documents are complete
- Performs related job duties as necessary.
