About The Position
Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic Care Staff for our assisted living community located in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The role involves assisting and providing direction to residents with personal care needs. This includes monitoring self-administration of medication, ensuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for any changes in condition.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with demonstrated maturity
- Must be available to work weekends
- Reliable, responsive and attentive
Nice To Haves
- Caregiver experience strongly preferred
- Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
Responsibilities
- Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs
- Monitor self-administration of medication
- Ensure resident hygiene
- Obtain and record residents' vital signs
- Maintain safety of residents
- Complete incident reports
- Assist with meal services
