1st Shift Care Staff
About The Position
Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic 1st Shift Care Staff for its BRAND NEW assisted living community, Calyx Living of Apex. This community is located in Apex, NC, conveniently situated near I-540 at Hwy 64. The role involves assisting and providing direction to residents with personal care needs. Key duties include monitoring self-administration of medication, ensuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining resident safety, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services, and observing residents for any changes in their condition.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older with demonstrated maturity
- Must be available to work weekends
Nice To Haves
- Caregiver experience strongly preferred
- Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
- Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
- Reliable, responsive and attentive
Responsibilities
- Assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs
