Care Professional (Evenings & Alternate Weekends)
About The Position
At Home Instead Walsall & Great Barr, we help older adults remain independent in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for dedicated Care Professionals to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients across the Walsall area. Unlike many care providers, we offer one-to-one support, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with your clients and provide care tailored to their individual needs. Whether you have previous care experience or have supported a family member, we would love to hear from you. No professional experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support from day one.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Commitment to providing outstanding care
- Kindness, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others

Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support with daily routines
- Assisting with personal hygiene and toileting
- Preparing meals and refreshments
- Supporting with medication reminders
- Helping with household tasks and home care support
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients to appointments, shops, pharmacies, social activities, and community events
- Supporting clients living with dementia and other specialist care needs
