About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Summit in Little Rock, AR. This part-time role focuses on creating human connections with residents, providing assistance with daily living activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have strong English communication skills, a positive attitude, basic computer skills, and the physical ability to perform the job duties, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting residents with mobility. Criminal clearance is also required.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
  • Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Be present, share talents, and be someone others can count on.
  • Create an inclusive and positive environment by investing with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
  • Be curious, ask questions, and be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
