Care Partner 7pm-7am $19-23 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Westbury located at 550 Stone Valley Parkway, Columbia, MO 65203. This full-time position involves creating human connections with residents, assisting them with daily living activities, and fostering an inclusive and positive environment. We are looking for individuals who are empathetic, reliable, invested in their work, curious, and proactive. The role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as assisting residents with mobility and after falls. Computer skills are necessary for documentation.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
- Must be active: requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Foster an inclusive and positive environment.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
- Print documents and enter resident information using computer skills.
