Care Partner 7pm-7am $18-21.25 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Carriage Court in Hilliard, OH. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating human connections with residents during their vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, computer skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to communicate effectively in English. Criminal clearance is also required.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
- Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
- Invest with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious and ask questions to understand resident needs and care.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
