Care Partner 7am-7pm $18-23.75 (Full Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team at Vitalia Solon. This full-time position involves providing direct care and creating meaningful connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, curiosity, and proactivity in assisting residents with their daily living activities. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, computer skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. You will be responsible for assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care, as well as helping them with sitting, standing, walking, and recovering from falls. A commitment to creating an inclusive and positive environment is essential.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
- Create human connection with residents during their vulnerable moments.
- Be present and share talents with residents and team members.
- Invest with your whole heart in your work, team members, and the community.
- Be curious and ask questions to find out information.
- Be engaged in your development, growth, and training within the organization.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
