About The Position

Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as well as aiding with mobility and transfers using proper techniques. The Care Partner will observe and report any changes in residents' conditions, assist with meal service and feeding, and maintain a clean and safe living environment. They will also participate in resident activities and socialization, and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas.
• Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
