About The Position
Oscar is seeking a Care Navigation Guide to join their Concierge Clinical team. Oscar is a health insurance company that utilizes a full stack technology platform and focuses on member service. The Care Navigation Guide will be responsible for curating provider lists for members needing care, which involves engaging with network providers to ensure optimal options are offered. The role reports to the Care Navigation Team Lead and is a remote position requiring residency in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas. Oscar fosters a blended work culture to connect remote employees with the team and company mission.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with care coordination and navigation in a healthcare setting.
- 1+ years of experience utilizing a Chromebook and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities
- Outreach providers and facilities to provide relevant, refined, and impactful personalized options that address members' specific care requests while staying within SLA and meeting access standards.
- Lean on and collaborate with RNs for support on complex cases to effectively route care.
- Discover and communicate trends to leadership to improve processes and the member experience.
- Effectively utilize all resources to navigate complex cases.
- Confirm and update provider data.
- Properly document tickets.
- Stay current on all information, updates, processes, and workflows.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
