About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Care Professional to support an older adult who remains largely independent but benefits from companionship, medication reminders, transportation assistance, light housekeeping, and a reassuring presence throughout the day. This is an opportunity to build a relationship, provide consistency, and help someone remain active, engaged, and successful at home.
Requirements
- Strong attendance, consistency, and communication are essential
- Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
- Offer medication and eye-drop reminders according to established routines
- Complete light housekeeping to help keep the home tidy and organized
- Prepare simple meals and snacks
- Drive to appointments, errands, lunch outings, or community activities
- Help monitor household supplies and grocery needs
- Document important updates and communication from family members
