About The Position

RET Physical Therapy Specialists, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Bellevue team! This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources. The Care Coordinator will manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls. They will also review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps. Keeping patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits is crucial. The role also involves collecting copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed. Protecting patient privacy and upholding HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation is a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills
  • Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets
  • Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism
  • A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
