About the position
Bond Vet is seeking a compassionate Care Coordinator to join their team. As a Care Coordinator, you will provide an exceptional experience for both clients and pets visiting their clinics. You will be responsible for greeting pet parents, managing appointments, communicating with other veterinary practices and clients, maintaining cleanliness in common areas, and offering hospitality and information to pet parents. The ideal candidate should have customer service experience, preferably in the veterinary industry, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities
- Greet pet parents and their four-legged friends and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience
- Manage the schedule of daily appointments and walk-ins
- Take and make calls and communicate via email to other Vet Practices and clients as necessary
- Keep common areas clean and well stocked
- Provide a high level of hospitality for pet parents, answer questions, and provide information and education as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or client facing receptionist positions
- Experience in the veterinary industry preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy and efficiency
- A high comfort level typing and utilizing multiple computer systems
- Prior experience in veterinary practices or animal care is a plus
