About The Position

The compassionate and reliable Care Attendant, Non-Certified will provide personal care services to our clients in their homes. The Care Attendant will be responsible for providing direct care to clients with personal care, homemaking, and companionship services. In addition, being responsible for observing, reporting and documenting services provided. The successful Care Attendant must have a strong passion for helping people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position will be supporting the Northbrook area and campus.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
• Genuine compassion and patience to senior adults.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Give assistance to residents in areas of activities, dining services, light housekeeping, and routine activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with daily activities.
• Assist with laundry, bed making, light housekeeping.
• Serve supplemental nourishment and snacks as needed.
• Observing, reporting and documenting services provided.
