About The Position

Are you passionate about helping others and creating exceptional customer experiences? Join our team as a Care Advocate, where you'll make a meaningful impact by welcoming newly enrolled health plan members and helping them confidently navigate their healthcare benefits. This is a temporary onsite opportunity. Candidates must reside in the El Paso, Texas area and be available to train and work onsite for the entire duration of the assignment, which is expected to continue to December 2026. As a Care Advocate, you'll make outbound welcome calls to newly enrolled health plan members, providing education, answering questions, and connecting members with valuable healthcare resources. You'll serve as the first point of contact for many members, ensuring they have a positive onboarding experience while delivering compassionate, high-quality service. You will support Medicare Advantage members, many of whom are elderly or living with disabilities. Success in this role requires patience, empathy, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help others.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience resolving customer concerns; call center experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Candidates must reside in El Paso, Texas.
  • Due to HIPAA regulations, employees must maintain the confidentiality of protected health information at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or health insurance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
