Requirements

  • Successful completion of accredited program.
  • Require attain/maintain certifications/credentials from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing (CCI).
  • Adult Echocardiography requires RDCS/RCS.
  • Vascular qualification requires RVT/RVS.
  • Pediatric qualification requires RDCS (PE)/congenital RCCS is required.
  • CPR certification is also required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties requiring Adult Echocardiography and/or Carotid Ultrasound, Pediatric Echocardiography, Structural Heart procedures, Cardiac Devices procedures.
  • Provide health services using procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary of medical ethics.
  • Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
  • Employee may be required to be scheduled on call to provide STAT services during off hours, when the department is closed.
