About The Position

Performed the essential functions of a Cardiovascular Technician I and II. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operation of advanced diagnostic and interventional equipment; participation in the training and supervision of other Cardiovascular Techs; and participation in the evaluation, learning and/or teaching of new technologies as required. Works in or around radioactive areas. Administers medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician. These medications include, but are not limited to, adenosine, Dobutamine, regadenoson, atropine, Aminophylline, nitroglycerine, metoclopramide, heparin and sodium chloride.

Requirements

HS/GED required
Active Anesthesia Tech. Certification is required (if hired/promoted after July 1, 2014)
Healthcare Provider BCLS is required within the orientation period
Minimum of six months experience as a Cardiovascular Technician II or its equivalent skill level
