About The Position

Assists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing, and completing a diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedure under the supervision of a physician. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology including TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy devices, thrombectomy devices, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella. Responsible for all aspects of patient care that are in accordance with the hospital and department policies. Practices safety guidelines for patients, colleagues, support personnel, and self. Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Ability to work varied hours and shifts.
• ACLS & BLS certification.
• CVT or RTR certification.
• Must obtain RCIS within six months of hire.
• RCES is required after 2 years of EP experience.

Nice To Haves

• Cath lab or EP lab experience.
• Two years in either Cath or EP experience.
• Organized, efficient, team-based attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate effective communication.
