About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Lansing, MI. The Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory provide services which include Cardiac catheterization, Angiography, Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement, Venography, Cardiac pacemaker insertions, and a variety of non-vascular interventional procedures. Both inpatient and one-day outpatient services are provided.

Requirements

2 Years Cath experience is required
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

Cardiac Experience is preferred
IR Experience is preferred
Will take ARRT, but will prefer RCIS

Responsibilities

Briefing patients on medical procedures and interviewing them in regard to medical history
Preparing and operating diagnostic imaging equipment to create images or perform medical tests
Analyzing tests and images to create summarized reports for physicians
Recording and organizing patient medical records
Monitoring patients’ blood pressure and heart rate during open-heart surgery and pacemaker or stent insertions
Performing electrocardiogram tests to monitor a patient’s heart performance
Preparing patients for medical procedures by performing necessary shaving or cleansing of a surgical area
