About The Position
The Cardiovascular Technician assist the Physician or Nurse Practitioner in all aspects of the performance of diagnostic cardiac testing. As a Cardiovascular Technician you will be required to perform satisfactorily and independently scan holters, IV’s, tilt table tests, and cardiac stress tests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must take and pass a basic rhythm and skills assessment test within 120 days of employment.
- Ability to adapt to a variety of situations, change, and new learnings
- Ability to build effective relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to independently manage time and priorities
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of Exercise Specialist program
- Some medical/clinical training and/or experience in a medical/clinical office
- EKG Rhythm proficiency
- Cardiovascular Experience
