About The Position
This is a full-time Cardiovascular Technologist position requiring 40 hours per week, with a schedule of 2 x 12-hour shifts and 2 x 8-hour shifts. The role includes an on-call obligation for covering weeknights from 7 PM to 7 AM and weekend days from 7 AM to 7 PM and/or nights from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in open heart procedures.
- Strong expertise in open heart CABG.
- Strong expertise in aortic and mitral valve surgeries.
- Strong expertise in aortic aneurysm repair.
- Strong expertise in endovascular cases.
- Experience with CPB cannulation.
- Experience with cardioplegia.
- Experience with pacers/defibs.
- Experience with IABP.
- Experience with LVAD insertion.
- Experience with Implla insertion.
- Experience with endo and open complex vascular cases.

- CVOR technologist experience
Responsibilities

- Utilize expertise with CPB cannulation.
- Utilize expertise with cardioplegia.
- Utilize expertise with pacers/defibs.
- Utilize expertise with IABP.
- Utilize expertise with LVAD insertion.
- Utilize expertise with Implla insertion.
- Utilize expertise with endo and open complex vascular cases.
- Participate in common CVOR procedures including coronary artery bypass surgery, valve replacements, heart transplants, aortic artery repairs, vascular bypass, endarterectomies and endovascular cardiac surgeries.
