About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide coverage in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include hospital rounding and performing surgical interventions as needed. The role requires 24-hour on-call coverage during specific dates throughout August 2023 to January 2024. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system. Travel, lodging, and rental car expenses will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate, with prior approval required for any additional expenses.
Requirements
- Completion of a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Active South Carolina medical license
- Current ACLS certification
- Submission of a self-query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation
- Clean professional background
