About The Position

Dignity Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join their team. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a cath lab setting to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. The position is at Chandler Regional Medical Center (CRMC), a 443-bed acute care hospital with a history of service and innovation in the East Valley community. Requirements

  • Completion of approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Two (2)-years of current Radiology Technologist and hands-on scrub including interventional experience
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 90 Days

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.
  • Independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet.
  • Demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Utilize good radiation safety practices.
  • Make a positive impact on internal and external customers.
  • Apply thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order.
  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
