About The Position

Adventist HealthCare is hiring an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager and independently be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. You will educate patients and family through the continuum of care while striving to advance your own knowledge and skills. You will demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision. You will also utilize equipment and technology correctly, and delegate non-nursing duties appropriately to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Current Maryland State nursing license
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Passing score on NCLEX
Minimum 1 year RN experience
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
ACLS required

Nice To Haves

One year of current Operating Room Registered Nurse experience or related acute care experience is preferred
