About The Position
Citrus Cardiology Consultants, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in Lecanto and Inverness, Florida. We currently have 2 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) opportunities available and are open to training motivated providers with a strong interest in cardiology. Both opportunities provide exposure to a wide variety of general cardiology cases while working alongside a collaborative team of cardiologists and APPs. Whether you are an experienced cardiology APP or a strong new graduate eager to learn, our team is open to training the right Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant candidate.
Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Motivated, dependable, and patient-focused mindset
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology experience preferred, but not required
- Strong new graduate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and manage ongoing cardiovascular care
- Manage chronic cardiac conditions and medications
- Review and interpret cardiovascular diagnostic testing
- Collaborate closely with physicians and care team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
