Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program of Medical or Cardiovascular Sonography.
- Current ARDMS or CCI registration in echocardiography or vascular sonography.
- Effective July 29, 2016, newly employed Imaging Technologist are required to possess an Associate degree.
- BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.
- No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in all aspects of the position within three months of employment date.
