The Cardiovascular Key Account Manager (KAM) will report into a Cardiovascular Accounts Director and will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing the business environment in assigned accounts, planning and executing actions for success. The ideal candidate will build strong internal and external relationships to support portfolio performance and brand strategies within complex partner organizations. This role involves serving as a strategic lead for assigned key accounts, executing compliant strategies to engage priority providers, ensuring institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings, and leading implementation initiatives for sustainable utilization. The KAM will develop comprehensive account plans aligned with the cardiovascular business unit strategy, collaborate with field teams, and engage with key opinion leaders in Cardiology, Lipidology, Pharmacy, and P&T Committees. They will present approved data/messages, ensure compliant delivery, and drive appropriate utilization of approved CV products. The KAM will monitor business performance, identify drivers/barriers, coordinate pull-through initiatives, and arrange approved programs and initiatives with home office support. Building and developing professional relationships with key customer decision-makers, including Hospital Pharmacy, Lipid Clinical, Heart Failure Clinical, Quality Directors, and hospital finance decision makers, is crucial. The role also involves coordinating with Access Specialists and providing field intelligence to various Amgen teams.
