About The Position
HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab team. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists play an essential role in supporting physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures while helping deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, or applied science, or completion of a certificate/training program
- 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role
- Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least three (3) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed
- Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Responsibilities
- Supporting physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures
- Delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Performing three mandatory day shifts per month supporting the Cath Lab
- Fulfilling night, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities
