About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists play an essential role in supporting physicians during a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, helping deliver safe, high-quality care to patients with heart and vascular conditions. In this role, the Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist assists physicians by operating fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, preparing and passing instruments, catheters, and other procedural supplies, and monitoring patients throughout procedures to support positive clinical outcomes. This position collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care across the cardiovascular procedural environment. We are hiring Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists at Levels I, II, and III. Placement within the appropriate level and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.
  • 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.
  • Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least three (3) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case type performed.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
