About The Position

Virtua Health is seeking a Part-Time Cardiovascular/EKG Registered Nurse for their Mount Holly location. This role involves providing care within the cardiovascular department, specifically focusing on stress testing procedures. The position requires a valid NJ RN License and experience in cardiac stress testing procedures such as stress echo, nuclear stress testing, and stress ECG. Critical care experience is preferred, but cardiovascular experience is most essential. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining high professional ethics. Requirements

Must have valid NJ RN License.
Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey licensing board.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards.
Perfects skills and stays abreast of current nursing practice through on-going education, journals, etc.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Cardiac stress testing: stress Echo, Nuclear stress testing, Stress ECG, etc. procedures preferred.
Critical care experience preferred but cardiovascular experience most preferred

Responsibilities

Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
Effectively manages rapidly changing situations.

Identifies and participates in the performance improvement activities.
Maintains professional and departmental level competencies.
