Requirements
- A certificate or associate's degree in Echocardiography or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography.
Nice To Haves
- Certification such as Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
Responsibilities
- Using ultrasound equipment, create images of the heart to assess its function and diagnose heart conditions.
- Perform diagnostic tests and share findings with cardiologists to guide patient care.
- Interview and prepare patients for heart exams, guiding them through the process and ensuring image quality.
- Assess how the heart performs under different conditions through various stress tests, including treadmill exams.
