The Cardiovascular Diagnostics Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing non-invasive and minimally invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, including Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Tilt Table Testing, and Stress Echocardiography. This role collaborates closely with cardiologists, sonographers, and the multidisciplinary cardiovascular team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic testing while maintaining Orlando Health's standards of excellence. The Cardiovascular Diagnostics RN is responsible for patient assessment, preparation, procedural monitoring, medication administration, moderate sedation support for TEE procedures, patient education, and post-procedure recovery. This position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while promoting safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate care in a dynamic outpatient and inpatient environment. This role is dedicated to cardiovascular diagnostic testing services and does not include responsibilities within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory. The Cardiovascular Diagnostics RN functions within the Echo and Non-Invasive Cardiology service line, supporting TEE, Tilt Table Testing, and Stress Echocardiography programs.
