About The Position

MyCardiologist, a long-established cardiovascular practice serving South Florida for more than 60 years, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join its team in Boca Raton. Recently partnered with CVAUSA and Novocardia, the practice offers the stability and resources of a growing cardiovascular network while maintaining the culture and reputation of a respected local group. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP looking to grow within cardiology alongside experienced physicians and providers in a collaborative environment. This is primarily an outpatient cardiology position based in Boca Raton. The role involves managing established cardiovascular patients, including follow-up visits, medication management, and ongoing care. The APP will evaluate patients with a variety of acute and chronic cardiac conditions, and will be responsible for ordering, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic testing, including EKGs, cardiac monitoring, imaging, stress testing, and laboratory studies. The position requires close collaboration with cardiologists, APPs, and clinical staff to coordinate patient care. There will also be participation in hospital rounding responsibilities with the physician team. A shared weekend call rotation is expected, averaging approximately one weekend per month.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Florida license or ability to obtain licensure
  • Acute Care certification required
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
