About The Position
CHI Health - Creighton University Medical Center is seeking an exceptional Advanced Practice Provider to join their Cardiovascular Unit Service team. This role is part of a transformative new chapter in Heart Care. The provider will round on hospitalized patients, providing critical care cardiovascular assessments for patients in pre or post-operative surgery. The clinician will join a growing team working closely with the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery and other physician team members, providing necessary information for team-based care decision making. This position is ideal for experienced Advanced Practice Providers in Cardiology or ICU experience. Collaboration and a team approach with the critical care team are essential for delivering exceptional care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- A valid and unrestricted state license or license-eligible
- A valid and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Experienced Advanced Practice Providers in Cardiology or ICU experience
Responsibilities
- Round on hospitalized patients
- Provide critical care cardiovascular assessments for patients in pre or post-operative surgery
- Work closely with the Division Chief of Cardiac Surgery and other physician team members
- Provide necessary information for team-based care decision making
- Collaborate with other members of the critical care team
