About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. This hospital-employed role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing cardiovascular and structural heart program, allowing you to focus on advanced surgical care while working alongside a collaborative and experienced surgical team. Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed regional referral center serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. As part of Universal Health Services (UHS), the hospital provides advanced medical services and is recognized for excellence in cardiovascular care, including designation as a HeartCARE Center™ by the American College of Cardiology.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active or eligible Texas medical license
- Interest in structural heart and advanced cardiac procedures
Nice To Haves
- Robotics experience preferred but not required
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive range of cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
- Participate in the development and expansion of the structural heart program
- Utilize robotics-assisted surgical techniques (experience preferred but not required)
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Manage perioperative and inpatient care responsibilities
- Document patient care using hospital EMR system
