CVS Health is hiring a Registered Nurse as a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator to educate patients and caregivers about complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies. The role includes initiating patients on oral, inhaled, subcutaneous, and infused PAH therapies and providing clinical support. The educator works in a specialized home-care service, coordinating care with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team, while building one-on-one relationships with patients and caregivers. This is a direct-hire, full-time position with an anticipated schedule of 40 hours per week. Approximately 80% of the time is spent traveling to patients in person to teach administration of infused medications; approximately 20% is spent teaching oral or inhaled medications by video conference from home. Travel is by car and airplane, includes overnight visits, and covers patients within a two-hour drive of Tulsa, throughout Oklahoma and into Texas, and occasionally across the Western Region, including Washington and Oregon. The role participates in an on-call rotation as staffing and business needs require. The position requires living within one hour of Tulsa International Airport, holding an unrestricted Oklahoma RN license with the ability to obtain additional licensure for a multistate service area, current CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Applicants need an RN diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least two years of qualifying high-tech infusion experience. The pay range is $54,095 to $116,760, with eligibility for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Eligible full-time colleagues receive a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources.
